Recipe for a great morning

Well having had 2 flu filled weekends, it was time to let those lungs get some air and beat the cycle of cabin fever! Off to West Dean near Chichester and a good stomp around the gardens and 110 year old glasshouses .Perfect for getting rid of the doldrums.Amazing to think that just over a week ago we were covered in a blanket of snow and now the gardens have drifts of snowdrops , hellebores and crocus.

So what do you need after a good stomp? A big bacon bap , steaming mug of hot chocolate and a nibble of some carrot cake thick with cream cheese orange frosting! Note to self….must make carrot cake again soon!
