So I posted a recipe for eggless and dairy free pancakes last year. They were good but left the slight tartness of bicarbonate powder lingering on the tongue. These do not and if you did not know ,would think they were the traditional batter recipe.
Makes 4 pancakes
4oz self raising flour
1 teaspoon caster sugar
9 floz oat milk or similar
4 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons sunflower oil or similar
Oil for cooking
Whisk wet ingredients into dry
Next heat oil in small fry small pan until hot
Ladle a 1/4 of mix into pan, fry until golden on one side and flip over
Fry until golden
Consume with what ever takes your fancy….still cannot beat sugar and lemon here!
