Sticky cinnamon buns

Sweet, sticky, cinnamon, doughy, soft, crispy and more. Satisfying, filling, naughty, warming, comforting and more. These are good. SOoooooo GoooooD!

Dough:
500g white bread flour
10 g salt
10g quick yeast ( I use Doves)
25g caster sugar
300 ml warm oat milk or equivalent
85 g Pure dairy free spread or equivalent

Filling:
80g Pure dairy free spread or equivalent
80g soft brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Glaze
Icing sugar
Water

In a bowl place flour , sugar and salt
Place yeast away from salt as can deactivate it.
Add Pure in lumps
Stir in 250ml oat milk until combined
Add rest of milk slowly , combining with your hands until dough like consistancy is achieved

Tip dough onto an oiled board and knead through wet stage for 5-10 minutes until dough is soft and smooth. I use vegetable oil to knead on rather than flour as prevents sticking.

Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with towel and place in a warm place for up to 2 hours or so until double in size

Knock dough back and tip on to oiled board again
Roll to a rectangle 1.5 cm deep

Spread filling butter across dough
Sprinkle a mix of the cinnamon and brown sugar over the butter
Roll dough up length ways into a sausage
Slice into 12 rounds and place in a lined 20cm tin
Cover in towel and proof for about 1/2 hour until risen again

Bake at 180c for 20 minutes until golden brown.

Drizzle a thick mix of icing sugar and water over surface
